Which power source does the manual identify?

Use the power type shown in your machine’s documentation
TypeWhat to distinguish
GasolineThe engine uses fuel. An electric starter is a separate part of starting it.
BatteryUse the information for the machine and its battery platform.
CordedThe machine plugs in to operate; that’s different from a plug used to start a gas engine.

If you can’t tell, choose “Not sure yet” on the request form and share the identifying details you can obtain safely. Don’t apply gasoline-engine advice to a battery or corded machine.

Describe what didn’t happen

On a gas machine, say whether the starter made a noise, whether the engine began running and whether it then stopped. For other power types, use what you observed without borrowing an engine diagnosis.

The coverage filter checks which power types a provider lists. They still need to confirm that they accept your particular model and the work it needs.
